Summary

Every four years, the Secretary General, with voluntary inputs from countries and relevant regional and international organizations, reports on the progress of the implementation of the New Urban Agenda. The second edition of this quadrennial report was due in 2022. A Writeshop was initiated in order to construct the quadrennial report, enabling participants from government to grassroots organisations, and across the globe to contribute knowledge, evidence and experience of implementing the NUA. This report presents information shared by participants during a Writeshop to provide inputs for the preparation of the 2022 Report of the Secretary-General on progress in the implementation of the New Urban Agenda (2022 Quadrennial Report), held online on 22 and 23 November 2021.
