National Housing Authority (NHA) has been aware of the significance of climate change, energy consumption growth which perpetually increases as well as the construction process. All the above-mentioned process has led to the emission of greenhouse gas which impacts the global environment.
Cooperating with other organizations, NHA has determined to incessantly develop the Energy-Efficient and Environmentally Friendly Housing Project.
Eco Village criteria have also been set in order to design and develop Energy-Efficient and Environmentally Friendly Houses which increase the potential of Eco-friendly development and sustainably reduce greenhouse gas emissions nationally. NHA is not only responsible for the development of housing for low-income people but also pays considerable attention to the improvement of the quality of life for the elderly. In compliance with BCG Economy (Bio-Circular-Green Economy), NHA has set operational guidelines, focusing on benefits for the people in the community by building houses for all ages, Focusing on cheap rental housing, Building up careers, Improving the quality of life and Developing environment
