Integrated Urban Planning for African Cities - Training opening webinar

Summary

FAO, in collaboration with the Politecnico di Milano and the African Center for Cities, has developed a participative training course on the integration of Urban and Peri-urban Agriculture, Urban and Peri-urban Forestry and Urban and Peri-urban Food system into Urban Planning focusing the Africa Region. Twelve African cities have been selected for this 6-month training course. This video shows the opening session of the training course that provides an overview of how these different elements, if properly integrated in the urban planning process, can help to build resilient and better African cities.
